By car

Mosonmagyaróvár is close by car to many international airports. From Bratislava it is 30 minutes driving on the highway no.150. from Vienna on the motorway A4 takes only 50 minutes and from Budapest it takes 75 minutes on the motorway M1. There are three entrances to the city: from Győr or Austria on the highway no.1. from Slovakia on the above mentioned highway no. 150. and from Csorna on the highway no. 86.

By bus

The scheduled intercity Volan buses are running relatively often to Mosonmagyaróvár. From Budapest and 10 other Transdanubian cities buses are coming daily, from Budapest it takes 3 hours, from Csorna 1 hour and from Győr only 50 minutes. International buses are also reaching the city, by the Eurolines buses Vienna is only 70 minutes long. There are daily, direct buses to Mosonmagyaróvár from the suburban settlements, and from Burgenland, too.

By train

Mosonmagyaróvár is located on one of the busiest line, which passes through Budapest – Komárom – Győr – Hegyeshalom – Vienna. With the rapid Austrian Railjet train it takes from Budapest 1 hour 40 minutes, from Vienna 75 minutes and from München 5 and a half hour to Mosonmagyaróvár.

By bicycle

There are many bicycle paths around the city: for example here runs the Danube riverside path, by which Mosonmagyaróvár can be reached directly from Győr and Rajka through many settlements in Szigetköz.

By public transport within the city

Within the city FUTURA can be reached easily: it takes only a few minutes by the interurban buses of Kisalföld Volán from the interurban bus station or from the railway station, as well.
